Discover Serra da Barriga, in União dos Palmares, one of Brazil's main symbols of Black resistance and the historic territory of the Quilombo dos Palmares. During a 6-hour guided immersion, learn about Ganga Zumba, Zumbi dos Palmares and other leaders, as well as Quilombola heritage and culture. The experience may include Quilombola cuisine, a capoeira workshop and local handicrafts. Serra da Barriga has been recognized as Mercosur Cultural Heritage since 2017.

• Immersion duration: approximately 6 hours.
• The experience takes place at Serra da Barriga, in União dos Palmares, Alagoas.
• The Memorial Park is approximately 9 km from the center of União dos Palmares.
• Quilombola cuisine, capoeira workshops and Quilombola handicrafts are optional activities/highlights, subject to availability.
• Comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended.
• The ticket is valid for up to 2 people.

• Follow the guide's and Memorial Park administration's instructions.
• Do not damage, remove or interfere with heritage structures or elements.
• Keep the area clean and dispose of waste properly.
• Respect spaces dedicated to cultural activities and local communities.
• Access to the Memorial Park is free and it is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, according to the Palmares Cultural Foundation.
Standard cancellation policy
Cancellation: 7 days after purchase, provided the service date has not passed when cancellation is requested. In this case, the refund will be full. Cancellation due to bad weather or unsuitable weather or tide conditions: experiences may be canceled by Live. The respective experience amounts will be refunded, with no additional compensation.
